Career Summary

Mark is a Chartered Engineer and has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering

Honours degree from University of Limerick as well as a Diploma in Project Management

in Project Management from Trinity College, Dublin.

 

Mark is an Associate with Galileo Energy Services since 2013 and has over 10 years

experience covering a broad spectrum of roles and responsibilities in the construction

industry. He has gained lots of experience working on a wide variety of projects including

school buildings, hospitals, hotels, and leisure facilities. Mark has worked on a

number of large education and commercial projects throughout his career.

 

Before joining Galileo Energy Services, Mark worked as a Senior Mechanical Engineer for

Ethos Engineering for 6 months and prior to that, he worked for Clarke & Associates for 8

years, where his last role was the Head of the Mechanical and Electrical Services

Department. In this role, he was responsible for the leadership, management and efficient

delegation of the workload for a team of engineers for the effective and successful

delivery of a portfolio of projects and the management of assigned company resources to

achieve this.

 

Prior to joining Clarke & Associates, Mark worked for Rotary M&E Services for 2½ years as a

Project Engineer. His initial role was to assist the Project Manager on site with a major

project in the University College Hospital Galway but within 2 years, he progressed to the

role of Project Manager and was responsible for managing a number of major projects in

the range of €100,000 to €3 million for Mechanical & Electrical services.
